6 tips to keep your Facebook clean, secure and private, how to

Log in and log out
When talking about security and privacy for you favorite Facebook account then the first thing that comes to mind is safe log in and log out. This is because most of the time after using our Facebook account we forget to log out from our accounts. And this is one big problem especially if your account is left open in a public computer booth (cyber cafes), a desktop used by many (family for instance), your some friends laptops or phones, etc. So if you are wondering what is the major problem in this then the answer is that if you don’t log out then the account is accessible by anyone who visits the Facebook website next. As soon as they type facebook.com, your Facebook page will be displayed. So whenever using a laptop or computer that can be used by any other, do remember to log out form your account.
Passwords
This is another major thing that people should be careful about. We tend to keep all kinds of passwords which at many times are very common to our personality. So anyone who knows you can just attempt two or three words or phrases to get the right password of your precious Facebook account. So to avoid this problem what you can do is, you should keep unique password which no one but you can figure out. Another way of solving this problem is that you may go to the ‘Security settings’ and activate ‘login approvals’. With this a security number will be sent to your phone numbers for confirmation whenever your account is logged in from a new device. This way you can control your log in.
Customized view of posts
So once you have secured your log in and log out, now it is the turn of your posts which includes your pictures, tags, shares, comments, likes, status, etc. The first and foremost thing to be done under this is that to go to your ‘privacy setting’ and check if your posts are made ‘public’. Which means the whole Facebook community can see all your posts. Now you surely don’t want this to happen. So what you do is tab on ‘Friends’ option instead of ‘public’. Through this only the people in your friend list can see your posts.
Now from your ‘friends’ you can further customize your list of people with whom you want to share a view of your post. You may also make groups like ‘family’, ‘friends’ etc. Through this if you want only one group to see the posts of yours and not the others, it is made possible.
Blocking or restricted list
Well this is one easiest option to avail if you do not want someone to be in any sort of contact with you one Facebook.
Constant review of privacy settings
You should at least once in a week just stroll through your privacy settings to ensure that everything is in place.
Careful while logging in to other accounts using Facebook
